Soderville Fastpitch is offering Two (2) $500 2024 Spring Scholarships!
The scholarship award may be granted to any present or former fastpitch softball player who has played for Soderville Fastpitch for three (3) years or more.
Submissions are due by June 1, 2024. The Soderville Fastpitch Committee will select the award recipient in June 2024. Additional eligibility requirements are listed below.

Summary of Scholarship Requirements
Graduating high school senior or equivalent.
Played a minimum of three years for Soderville Baseball.
Overall GPA: 3.0 or higher.
Letter of recommendation by a non-relative.
Submit a short essay 400 to 500 words that demonstrates how playing softball has influenced your life.
Submit most recent original transcript, does not have to be officially sealed
Will be attending an accredited two or four Year College, University, Trade or Technical School upon graduation and be a full time student (12+ credits) in the summer or fall of 2024.
Submit the scholarship application
All voting will be done blindly; that is the names of the applicants will not be known to the voting committee members. Also no SBAA board, Baseball or Softball committee member who has a child or is a guardian of a child submitting an application is allowed to vote.
If applicant is selected to receive a scholarship, the funds will be awarded upon providing documentation (i.e. Invoice) from the school the applicant is attending. Payment will be made directly to the school after submission of the documentation.
